Eco-Lite Warranty

Eco-Lite Products, LLC (“Eco-Lite”) warrants our fixtures containing an Electronic Ballast to be free from defect in material and construction, subject to the terms and conditions below, for a period of five (5) years, beginning from the date of shipment. Eco-Lite does not warrant the rated life of any bulbs used with its products. All fixtures that contain light emitting diodes (LED’s) that are a Par 38, Par 30 or Par 20 style are warranted for a period of five (5) years or 25,000 hours whichever is less,  beginning from the date of shipment.  All fixtures that contain light emitting diodes (LED’s) that are an MR16 style or are an LED Vantage incase lighting are warranted for a period of three  (3) years or 15,000 hours whichever is less,  beginning from the date of shipment.  These warranties are conditioned upon proper use and maintenance of our fixtures.  All LED lamps if they are being used in recessed fashion must be used in a NON-IC style recessed can.  Any LED lamps that are installed into anything other than a NON-IC can will void any and all warranties.  All LED Vantage or Minardi Mirror Light fixtures must be installed using the power source supplied.  If any LED Vantage or Minardi Mirror lights are installed without the use of the power sources supplied the fixtures will be subject to damage and will not be warranted. These warranties are not applicable to any lighting fixtures that have not been properly stored or maintained, that have been altered or modified in any way, or that have not been installed and operated in accordance with current National Electric Code (“NEC”) and American National Standards Institute (“ANSI”) standards and specifications, and in accordance with instructions supplied by Eco-Lite. These warranties are also not applicable to any Lighting Fixtures subjected to abnormal stresses and operating conditions.  Any repair of any Eco-Lite Lighting Fixtures without Eco-Lite’s written approval or replacement of any part or parts of any Eco-Lite Lighting Fixtures with any part or parts not provided by Eco-Lite will void the entire warranty. Eco-Lite will correct any defects in an Eco-Lite lighting fixture, at Eco-Lite’s option, by either repairing or replacing any defective part or parts or by making a replacement Eco-Lite lighting fixture available. Unless otherwise stipulated Eco-Lite will examine all Eco-Lite lighting fixture said to be defective and reserves the right to be the sole judge as to whether any Eco-Lite Lighting Fixtures are defective and covered under this warranty. All installations of Eco-Lite fixtures should be solely through the use of a licensed electrician.  Eco-Lite is not responsible for any damage that occurs through the negligence of an electrician or other individual or entity involved in the installation of Eco-Lite’s fixtures.

These express limited warranties are extended by Eco-Lite only to the original purchaser. Warranty claims can be made by contacting 1-800–345-9652 to initiate the process for the problem resolution as outlined below. The foregoing warranty shall constitute the sole and exclusive remedy to the purchaser and the sole and exclusive liability of Eco-Lite. The foregoing warranties are exclusive of all other statutory, written or oral warranties, and no other warranties of any kinds, statutory or otherwise, are given or herein expressed.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

Under no circumstances, whether as a result of breach of contract, breach of warranty, tort, strict liability or otherwise, will Eco-Lite be liable for consequential, incidental, special or exemplary damages including, but not limited to, loss of profit or revenues, loss of use of ballast or any other goods or associated equipment, cost of capital, cost of substitute products, facilities or service, down time costs, or claims of purchaser’s customers, Eco-Lite’s liability to any claim of any kind for any loss or damages arising out of, resulting from or concerning any aspect of this warranty or from the Eco-Lite Lighting Fixture shall not exceed the price of the specific Eco-Lite Lighting Fixture. Eco-Lite reserves the right to examine all fixtures which are claimed to be defective or non-functioning and reserves the right to be the sole judge as to whether any ballasts are defective and covered under this warranty. In the event a returned product is found to be functioning properly, Eco-Lite reserves the right to charge the customer for all costs associated with the returned product, including but not limited to shipping, labor and materials.

ECO-LITE RETURN POLICY

Please Examine Your Order Without Delay.

Incorrect Orders
If your order was sent incorrectly, please call us at 1-800-345-9652 or email us at contact@eco-lite.com . Incorrect orders include orders that are missing parts, were sent in the wrong color, the wrong wattage, etc. An RMA, as outlined below, is required for returns of incorrect orders. Any delays in reporting the receipt of incorrect orders goods may lead to our inability to verify the order which may result in the customer being denied replacement fixtures at no cost.

Damaged Goods
If the carrier has damaged the product please call us IMMEDIATELY at 1-800-345-9652 or email us IMMEDIATELY at contact@eco-liteproducts.com. In order to return any damaged product, please be sure to repack the item(s) using all of the original packing materials. Eco-Lite will contact the carrier for you and arrange a pick-up. An RMA, as outlined below, is required for returns of damaged products.  Any delays in reporting the receipt of damaged goods may lead to our inability to receive payment from the freight/shipping company which will result in the customer being denied replacement fixtures at no cost.

Warranty Items
All customers who wish to return any fixtures for repair or replacement under Eco-Lite’s warranty must first contact us at 1-800-345-9652 and speak with one of our lighting professionals who will determine if the fixture is eligible for repair or replacement at no charge. An RMA, as outlined below, is required for returns of products claimed to be eligible under our warranty. All customers shall pay the costs associated with shipping the fixtures back to our facility for warranty repair.

No returns on correct, non-damaged, non-defective fixtures or products. All orders that have been shipped and received that are correct and have not been received damaged or defective are not eligible for return. Customers who choose to return correct working fixtures or products are only eligible to receive credit on future orders subject to a twenty (20%) percent restocking fee . Customers have 10 full days from the date of delivery to request to return all or part of their order for credit. If customers choose to return product, except custom orders and special item orders, for credit less the restocking fee, the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping back to Eco-Lite’s place of business. Credit will only be issued if the fixtures that are returned are in the same condition they were received and packed in the same manner as they were delivered. In the event that any returned items are found to have been damaged, or have been returned in a condition that is other than how they were originally delivered, Eco-Lite shall have no obligation to provide credit for any part of the purchase price. An RMA, as outlined below, is required for all returns for credit.

Custom-Made or Special Orders

All LED lamps and fixtures are custom-made items including but not limited to, in-case lighting, custom length items, mirror lights,  custom colors, plated items including but not limited to nickel, brass or chrome, certain custom ordered LED lamps or other special items may not be returned. Thank you for understanding our need to establish this important guideline.

Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA)

An RMA is required in order to return any fixture. Fixtures returned without first obtaining an RMA shall not be eligible for any refund, return, repair or replacement. Please contact us at 1-800-345-9652 to speak with one of our lighting professionals, so that Eco-Lite can determine whether you are eligible to receive an RMA. No collect shipments will be accepted on any returned product unless specifically authorized by Eco-Lite in writing. All returns MUST have the RMA inside the box(es) to be returned. The outside of all boxes being returned MUST include the name and address of the customer along with the RMA number assigned.
